After going through a challenging divorce from his wife Christine Baumgartner a few months ago, Kevin Costner seems to have found love once more.
The singer Jewel and the Yellowstone actor were recently pictured together at a tennis event for the Inspiring Children Foundation on Richard Branson’s Necker Island. It is claimed that the two are dating.
The couple reportedly traveled to the Caribbean together and spent nearly a week together, according to TMZ. This, of course, comes after the controversy surrounding Costner’s post-relationship court battle with the previously mentioned Baumgartner.
When Costner’s wife decided to file for divorce in May of this year, reports state that he was shocked. From that point on, the terrible situation grew worse.
Christine filed for divorce in early May, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Their marriage spanned eighteen years.
“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond Mr. Costner’s control have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,” said a statement released by Costner’s representative.
“We ask that his, Christine’s, and their kids’ privacy be respected during this difficult time.”
In 2004, Baumgartner and Costner tied the knot. Cayden and Hayes are fourteen and fifteen years old, respectively, while Grace is twelve.
After she filed a lawsuit, Baumgartner and Costner got into a physical altercation. The prenuptial agreement made the latter liable for $63,209 in monthly child support payments and ordered the former to vacate the family home.
It seems that there is still hope, even if Costner’s trip has undoubtedly been awful—filled with loss, uncertainty, and a great deal of stress that he could have spared.
TMZ claims that Jewel, a singer from the US, and Costner are romantically linked. The two, as said earlier, took a plane to the Caribbean together, and according to a source, “there was definitely something going on.” They both seemed to light up and become flirty when they were together.
Another witness to the incident said, “Even though they appeared to be trying to be discreet, anyone who saw them could tell something was going on.”
Jewel made reference to Costner on social media as well. Regarding the tennis fundraiser on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands, she said, “It’s an incredible time, and one I use to relax, rest, and play with my son!” This year, we had the honor of having @kevincostnermodernwest mentor our children.
TMZ claims that Jewel and Costner came back together. Jewel is “picky,” a source claims, and “she wants a good man, and Kevin fits the bill.”
