One of the best actors on General Hospital has left the show. Johnny Wactor, 37, who was most known for playing Brando Corbin on the adored television program “General Hospital,” died this past weekend in a sad accident.
The actor was reportedly shot and died early on Saturday in downtown Los Angeles in what is believed to have been a theft.

Her son and a few of his pals, she claimed, had witnessed some men “messing” with her son’s automobile. He was shot by the gang of unidentified males when they got close to the car to look into what was going on. According to his mother, despite her son’s lack of resistance or attempt to stop the alleged carjackers, he was shot.
Local news received a similar account of events from the Los Angeles Police Department. They disclosed that at approximately three in the morning, a man—whom they did not name—was shot close to Pico Boulevard and Hope Street. He was declared dead while being taken to a neighboring hospital.

Producers of General Hospital made a statement in which they talked about the actor’s passing and how tragic it was for all of the cast members.
The sudden death of Johnny Wactor has devastated the whole General Hospital family. He was genuinely unique and a delight to work with every single day. The show’s executives commented, “Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones during this difficult time.”
In a statement to Variety, Wactor’s talent representative David Shaul expressed his sorrow at the sudden and terrible loss.
“Johnny Wactor was an amazing person. Not only was he a gifted actor who loved what he did, but he also set a true moral example for everyone he came into contact with. representing diligence, perseverance, and a never-give-up mentality. He never lost heart and never stopped trying to be the best version of himself, even in the highs and lows of a demanding career, Shaul remarked.
“Our time with Johnny was a privilege we would wish on everyone,” he went on. He would practically take off his shirt for you. He will always have a void in our hearts after more than ten years of dating.
In addition to more than 160 episodes of General Hospital, the actor starred in a number of well-known TV shows, such as CBS originals NCIS and Criminal Minds, ABC’s Station 19, HBO’s Westworld, and Netflix’s The OA. He starred in Lifetime’s Army Wives in his debut appearance. He appeared in three episodes as Airman Byers.
On General Hospital, Sofia Mattsson, who portrays Sasha Corbin, Wactor’s on-screen wife, posted a heartfelt remembrance of her buddy who passed away. Over the years, she posted pictures of them as their characters and stated that she “is so utterly broken.”
“There was nothing like Johnny.” So sincere. Such compassion. incredibly modest and diligent. with an enormous heart that brought so much happiness and goodwill. He always ensured that anyone in his vicinity felt valued, heard, and seen. I’m a better person for having known him and I really admire the man he was,” she captioned the photo.
Mattsson went on, “I will always hold a great place in my heart for the many wonderful moments we had together, both on and off screen. Johnny, you will be sorely missed. You must already be quite busy tending to everyone up there ❤️.
