A 14-year-old girl without arms enters the stage and delivers a stunning performance that brings everyone to tears

Lorelai Moșneguțu, born in Târgoviște, Romania, with significant limb deficiencies, was sadly deserted by her birth mother, who believed she wouldn’t survive. Thanks to her adoptive mom, known affectionately as “Mama Vio,” Lorelai received unwavering love and encouragement. From infancy, Mama Vio taught her to grasp pencils with her feet, paving the way for Lorelai to master everyday activities, excel in school, and eventually immerse herself in academics, becoming a top student.

Lorelai’s determination and use of her feet transformed not only her daily life but also her creative gifts. By her early teens, she had become both a talented pianist—playing the piano with her feet—and a singer. At just 14, she auditioned for România’s Got Talent, delivering an astonishing performance that combined heartfelt vocals and skilled foot-play on the piano. Her audition moved the judges and audience to tears, earning her the coveted Golden Buzzer from one of the judges.

Ultimately, she won the entire competition and a €120,000 prize.

Lorelai’s story—from being abandoned at birth to triumphing on a global stage—has inspired countless people by showing how resilience, support, and unwavering passion can overcome even the steepest obstacles.
