A 6th grader performed a cover of Lady Gaga’s song for the talent show, leaving the entire school in awe

The finest cover songs preserve the best elements of the original, pay tribute to the artist who made the song popular, and sound completely distinct, with a brilliant, fresh arrangement. For example, The Voice judges Miley Cyrus, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Alicia Keys did an excellent version of Aerosmith’s “Dream On,” while Pentatonix did a stunning cover of Justin Bieber’s “Where Are U Now.”

Although the cover video below does not feature a pop musician or an award-winning ensemble, it is still very relaxing. It was arranged and performed by a sixth grader! In April 2010, Greyson Chance performed at his school’s talent event. Greyson initially seemed to be showing off his piano prowess to the students and instructors in the room. However, when he started singing, his rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” left the audience in awe!

Greyson’s arrangement is so smart and unusual that it takes his classmates a while to figure out what he’s singing. However, if you look closely, you can see Greyson’s classmates’ faces light up in the audience when they recognize the smash tune.

Greyson was born to be a superstar! Check out Greyson’s fantastic cover in the video below, and share his incredible skill with a friend.
