Kylie Jenner Details Poker Nights She Hosts with Boyfriend Timothée Chalamet and His Friends

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet‘s poker nights sound like far from a bust.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder, 28, caught up with Vanity Fair for the cover of the Spring issue, as she revealed how she first got into poker and detailed the game nights she hosts with Chalamet, 30, and pals.

“I grew up here, but I don’t really have, like, a nightlife — I play a lot of poker,” she said in the interview, published Wednesday, March 11, before telling Vanity Fair‘s Nate Freeman afterward that she holds poker nights at her home for Chalamet’s friends.

Jenner’s had a poker night the night before the interview. She played with painter Jonas Wood and intended to take part in his own starry World Series of Art Poker event, she told the outlet. “Last night wasn’t a good night for me,” she joked.

“I love playing with them because they bet big and they juice the pot,” she added of the folks who attend the art events, which has included Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen DeGeneres and Jack Black. “When you play a lot, to play with people who play it safe all the time sometimes isn’t as fun. It’s challenging because then they’re betting big.”

Jenner’s love for poker started two years ago on a “friend trip,” Jenner also told the outlet in a separate video as part of the cover story. “All the boys were playing poker and I didn’t really understand it,” she said. “They just taught me how to play. And then I started watching tournaments and that’s when I became obsessed.”

She added that she considers herself as “very competitive” and someone who likes to win, so it “feels really good when you’re up.”

“If you’re just getting started with poker, I recommend you have a drink, relax and use a little cheat sheet,” Jenner said in the video. “You can look up online ‘what are all the hands I can win with’ and you can just look at your phone and always be checking what you have. The more you play, the better you get. It’s true.”

Jenner and Chalamet, a notable poker fan himself, were first linked romantically in April 2023 after they appeared to meet at Paris Fashion Week in January of that year.

It wasn’t until the 2024 Golden Globes that they made their first public appearance at an awards show. While accepting the award for Best Actor at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards in January, Chalamet gave Jenner a shoutout during his acceptance speech. “Lastly, I’ll just say, thank you to my partner of three years,” he said to Jenner from the stage during his Marty Supreme win.

“Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much,” he added.
