Last week’s qualifier round on America’s Got Talent featured a breathtaking performance by Brazilian singer Gabriel Henrique. He chose to cover “Something Beautiful” by Jacob Banks—a powerful choice that allowed him to showcase his smooth, expressive vocals and reach some truly astonishing high notes.
Sofía Vergara, who had awarded him the Golden Buzzer during his audition, watched with rapt attention. When Gabriel hit that soaring high note, the audience erupted—and Vergara herself praised it as “perfection… exactly like an angel.”
Gabriel summed it up best: “I like to sing what I feel in my heart. And if it’s not with love, then it doesn’t mean anything.”
