The atmosphere in the room changed as the young man sang the first note. It was as if Bob Marley had risen from memory and claimed the mic. The judges pressed their buttons instinctively within seconds. Chairs whirled, eyes opened, and mouths fell. The audience surged, electricity crackled, and goosebumps ran across arms like a summer night cold…

Bob Marley left a legacy that no generation will ever forget. And it is virtually impossible to imagine anyone else possessing Marley’s talent. Marley, born Robert Nesta Marley in February 1945 on the Caribbean island of Jamaica, was a giant influence in the 1960s and 1970s. In 1975, he had his first huge worldwide success with a rendition of Eric Clapton’s “I Shot the Sheriff.” He died in 1981 of skin cancer, and the music industry has lamented his loss ever since.

However, Holland, a competitor on The Voice, stunned everyone with his performance inspired by Marley. Mitchell Brunings is a wonderful performer. Brunings entered the stage exactly like any other performer. Although the audience had high expectations of him, no one anticipated him to sound that good. The judges can’t believe their ears when the man sings “Redemption Song.” The dude has an absolutely amazing voice. Mitchell Brunings sounds like Bob Marley. And everyone understands how talented one must be to sound like the renowned singer.

This amazing man eventually finished second in the show. Please leave us a Facebook comment with your thoughts after watching the complete video below!
