From the moment that four friends from Detroit came onto the platform of America’s Got Talent, the subsequent events were something that nobody could have predicted. The Funkateers were a group of adolescent males who established a dance crew in 1980 at a high school in Inkster, Michigan. They named themselves The Funkateers. Their narrative has deep roots from the beginning. In addition to winning the school talent competition, they also immersed themselves in the dynamic dance culture of Detroit. They were bursting with vitality and enthusiasm.
During a period of time, their performances were quite exciting.
