The America’s Got Talent 2026 auditions witnessed an unforgettable masterclass in resilience and human potential when 23-year-old Rubén Roldán took the stage. Hailing from a small village in Malaga, Spain, Rubén arrived with a clear mission: to prove that limits exist only in the mind. With the help of his friend translating, Rubén shared his ultimate dream of traveling the world to inspire others through his absolute passion—parkour.
Before his performance, the judges and audience learned that Rubén had survived a severe childhood accident involving a tractor, which resulted in the loss of his left leg. Undeterred by what many would consider an impossible barrier, Rubén turned to the extreme discipline of parkour, completely reinventing what a human body can achieve.
Instead of performing on the traditional stage, Rubén’s routine began entirely outside the theater doors, captured live on camera. Using only crutches and his phenomenal upper-body strength, he launched into a breathtaking sequence of high-flying flips, precision jumps, and daring drops across massive urban structures and balconies. The sheer momentum and fluid control of his movements left the judges completely speechless as he eventually made his way inside the auditorium to finish his routine on the main stage.
The atmosphere in the room shifted from suspense to pure awe. Simon Cowell, deeply moved by both the artistic talent and the immense bravery on display, stated simply, “That was um bloody fantastic. I have so much respect for your talent and your courage.”
With that, Simon pressed the Golden Buzzer, showering the Spanish athlete in gold confetti. Rubén’s incredible triumph stands as a powerful reminder that passion knows no boundaries, securing his rightful place in the live shows.
